Biostar announces cryptocurrency mining system with 8 Radeon RX 6600 GPUs

Biostar is known for its motherboards, although it has now announced a new mining rig containing eight AMD Radeon RX 6600s. According to the company, the iMiner 660MX8D2 offers up to 248 MH/s to mine Ethereum. The machine is equipped with a motherboard from the manufacturer, the TB360-BTC D+, created exclusively for use with various video cards.

The equipment has an Intel G4900 CPU, 8 GB of DDR4-2666 RAM and a 120 Gb SSD. This configuration is the least important, since the mining work will be carried out by the GPUs. The system has a 2000W power supplyand the TDP of a Radeon RX 6600 is 132W, adding up to 1056W just for the graphics cards.

The manufacturer says that the mining platform has “operational capacity to mine the main cryptocurrencies such as ETH, ETC, RVN, ERG”, among others. The machine is capable of running Windows 10, HiveOS, or Linux.

The manufacturer has other mining solutions in its catalog such as the iMiner A588X8D2 that is equipped with eight Radeon RX 580 and offers approximately 7% less performance in Ethereum mining, but consumes more, since the GPU has a TDP of 185 w.

The other two teams have 12 RX 560, the iMiner A564X12P and six RX 570 the iMiner A578X6.

The biostar official site it does not disclose the prices of any of the mining rigs.
