Bitcoin Coinbase Broker Becomes Principal Member of Visa

Coinbase is now " main member »Of Visa. The American broker prides itself on being the first company specializing in crypto-currencies as Bitcoin to join the network Visa.

In a blog post, Coinbase announced that membership in the network Visa would allow her to improve the way she spends cryptocurrency daily.

As a principal member of Visa, Coinbase also becomes the first crypto-enterprise to be able issue debit cards to other companies, including startups specializing in crypto. The company does not plan to do so, however, reports Forbes.

Managed by its British subsidiary, the card now supports 9 digital assets, namely Bitcoin, Ethereum, litecoin, Bitcoin Cash, XRP, Basic Attention Token (BAT), REP, ZRX, and Stellar (XLM).

While Coinbase currently charges 2.49% fees on payments made with his card, network membership Visa should help the company lower its commissions.
