The payment solutions provider Poynt has partnered with BitPay in order to integrate the payment in Bitcoin and crypto-currencies in his POS terminals used by more than 100,000 merchants.
The leader in crypto-payment Bitpay now provides its solution to the American company Poynt. Blockchain payment rails BitPay have been integrated into terminals Point Of Sale (POS) of Poynt.
By scanning a QR Code, consumers shopping at merchants equipped with Poynt terminals (more than 100,000 around the world) can now pay directly in Bitcoin and via the other cryptocurrencies supported by BitPay like Bitcoin Cash and Ethereum.

Founded in 2011 in Atlanta, BitPay processes over a billion dollars in crypto payments each year. Last month, the firm announced that it would start taking over the XRP of Ripple on his service.
Supported by Google Ventures, Poynt recently surpassed $ 9 billion in 12-month payment volume. The Palo Alto, California-based company believes that taking charge of the payment in cryptocurrencies on its terminals will help accelerate its growth.
