Major cryptocurrency payment operator BitPay said it will add support for XRP. Customers will be able to pay for goods using XRP by the end of this year.
Currently, XRP capitalization reaches $ 10.7 billion. To implement support for the third largest cryptocurrency, BitPay has entered into a partnership agreement with Ripple Xpring. Thanks to the partnership, users of the BitPay wallet will be able to store and spend XRP for the purchase of various goods and services.
“XRP can offer a fast, cheap and scalable payment option,” said Sean Rolland, BitPay Product Director.
Recall that last month, BitPay announced the launch of support for broadcasting as a payment instrument. The company recently passed an audit of the organization’s Control measures in the service sector. This means that BitPay user data is safe.
