Libra developers presented the first roadmap of the project

Libra Association published the first roadmap of the project, which presents the tasks and achievements of the team.

According to the roadmap, at the moment, the developers have set themselves four key goals that they want to achieve before the launch of the main network. All of them are indicated by the number of complete nodes that the project partners will manage – from 5 to 100.

“One of the methods we use to measure the success of the project is related to the number of running full nodes that are managed by different partners. As a result, in the main chain, each partner should have its own complete node, which will be based on a combination of local and cloud infrastructure. Due to the variety of infrastructure used, the Libra network will be several times more stable, ”the publication says.

In preparation for launching the main network, Libra developers created the Pre-Mainnet production environment, which will allow testing of selected Libra partners. To do this, they must have their own full nodes running. During testing, you can interact with each other and check the stability of the network.

Among other things, the developers presented a description of various tools that have already been created and are used to track the activity and status of the system.

They also noted that they continue to work on the implementation of more important capabilities and have already advanced quite far in ensuring the functioning of full nodes. The priority is laying the foundations for the collaboration of various wallets.

“With this publication, we wanted to share the results of our work and introduce you to the future Libra Core features. We will continue to periodically provide reports to keep everyone informed of events, ”the developers said.
