Block.one (EOS) releases version 2.0 of its EOSIO software

Block.one posted EOSIO 2.0. According to the issuer of the crypto-currency EOS, the update brings more speed, security and simplicity to its network blockchain.

On Twitter, Block.one unveiled the new stable version of its software EOSIO.

With EOSIO 2.0, developers now have new development tools, including EOSIO Quickstart Web IDE, which makes it easier for novice coders to understand the infrastructure EOS.

EOSIO version 2.0 also offers a new engine WebAssembly (WAS) which would provide better performance for the treatment of smart contracts (smart contracts).

Also, Block.one announced support for WebAuthn, a popular authentication standard for signing transactions, as well as support for Weighted Threshold Multi-Signature Block Production Support, providing more security to block producers on the network EOS.

“We continue to regularly test new features in the software suite EOSIO to provide developers with software enhancements, more secure ways to sign transactions, and stronger authentication protocols. Community participation is encouraged, ”Block.one said in a statement.

Last month, Block.one’s venture capital firm, EOS VC, introduced a new program to reward startups and developers who work around the EOS ecosystem.

Block.one has achieved the most important ICO of history by looking up near $ 4 billion for his digital piece EOS in 2017.
