Blockchain Expert Center opened at Skolkovo Technology Park

Skolkovo Technopark, in cooperation with Waves, has launched the Sk & Waves blockchain expert center, which will help various companies implement technologies in their business.

“A joint expert center on distributed registry technology, created by the Skolkovo Foundation and one of the leaders in the blockchain industry, Waves, began working in the Skolkovo technology park,” the Skolkovo press service said.

“Clients and partners of the Center will be large companies from various sectors of the economy; government agencies in need of consulting on the use of distributed registry technologies; startups that need help in launching their technological solutions to the market; investors interacting with blockchain startups and interested in their expert evaluation; as well as educational institutions. ”

In addition to helping various companies implement the blockchain, the Center will develop and promote technology in the country. To do this, it is planned to invite experts and significant figures of the industry and conduct seminars and other educational events.

“We invite technology partners, corporations and public sector representatives to cooperate. With partners, we plan to test hypotheses, launch pilots and projects, including cross-border ones, requiring careful work with regulators. Particular attention of the Center will be directed to supporting start-ups and the blockchain industry as a whole, ”said Pavel Novikov, director of the Skolkovo Foundation’s Finance & Blockchain Innovation Center.

Earlier it was reported that the Russian organization Digital Economy approved the plan to create a special commission that will select projects in the field of new “end-to-end” technologies and blockchain.
