Coinbase Simplifies Sending Cryptocurrencies To Its Customers

Coinbase announced that it is now possible to send cryptocurrencies via its service Coinbase Wallet using short, friendly addresses on a human scale.

Sure Coinbase Wallet, users no longer have to use long, meaningless encryption addresses like 0grgg89136a834fa067fe4f6ef63e444fe52efef88e.

Customers Coinbase all have a username (example: @Bitcoinminershashrate). When sending, just enter this nickname to transfer cryptocurrencies. The name can be made public or private depending on the user's wishes.

We believe these improvements will make the cryptocurrency much easier to use and help drive adoption among a broad audience. Users can send funds to friends and business partners as they do with traditional payment applications, ”said Sid Coelho-Prabhu, product manager at Coinbase.

Coinbase also integrated Ethereum Name Service at his service. This allows users to send digital parts to .eth addresses.

The Californian company specifies that these new features are compatible with all the cryptocurrencies supported by its wallet: Bitcoin, Bitcoin Cash, Litecoin, Ethereum, XRP or Stellar.

Last year, Brian Armstrong, the CEO of Coinbase, was granted a patent to protect technology that makes sending Bitcoin as easy as email.
