Another cooling from Cryorig is the well-known M9 model, but in a version with two fans. What will be the difference in performance and will it be a good choice for the price?
The cooling is packed in a black cardboard box. Together with it, we receive an instruction, a mounting kit, a 2x 4 pin to 4 pin adapter, paste and a registration card. Installation is very easy – as is usually the case with Cryorig products. The rest of the extras are rather standard. The warranty is 3 years.
Cooling looks the same as its predecessor. It measures 98.4 mm x 102 mm x 124.6 mm and weighs 505 g. The Cryorig M9 Plus has 40 fins with a thickness of 0.4 mm and 2.6 mm intervals. There are three of them in turn. The stand was made for a perfect mirror. The manufacturer says a maximum TDP of 130 W. The workmanship is very good – again, as is always the case with the company’s products.
The Cryorig M9 Plus features two 90mm fans. Their maximum speed is 2200 RPM, the air flow is 48.4 CFM, the pressure is 3.1 mmH2O and the volume is 26.4 dBA. The fans have PWM and quite a long cable.

Cooling performed well in tests for its design. There is no need to count on outstanding performance, but it is enough for the basic structures. It is also one of the most efficient coolers of this design. It is a bit worse with the work culture. It is very loud at maximum speed, but already at 1500 RPM it is decent.
Cryorig M9 Plus costs about PLN 130. At this price, it is one of the coolest designs on the market. The performance for this amount is decent – it will even allow for small OCs of weaker processors. The work culture is lame at maximum speed, but at lower levels it is already quite well. With PWM, you probably won’t even get to 2200 RPM, so you have nothing to fear. The design itself is good – not great, but the cooling isn’t bad either. The build quality is very good. Cryorig M9 Plus is another cooling recommended around PLN 130.
