MOSCOW, Sep 23 — PRIME. As part of the restructuring, the German Ministry of Economics plans to establish a new department for energy security and economic stabilization, said the official representative of the department, Stefan Gabriel Haufe.

“Today (Economy Minister Robert Habek) decided to create a new department to strengthen the structure of the ministry as a whole,” he said.
The press secretary of the German Ministry of Economy specified that the competence of the structure would include issues of energy security and economic stabilization in Germany. The head of the department will be the former head of the ministerial department for the country’s economic policy, Philipp Steinberg, Haufe stressed.
