DiDi launches DiDi Hero, its exclusive service to mobilize health workers

With the intention of continuing to help the tireless work of health personnel in the country, the DiDi technology company announces the implementation of its DiDi Hero service, specially designed for the doctors, nurses, cleaning assistants, doctors and other workers who day day they fight the coronavirus.

With this benefit, available as of Monday, April 13, all medical area officials will be able to travel to their workplaces with a 50% discount and in vehicles that will be sanitized once a week.

Trips made through DiDi Hero will not be subject to the dynamic rate and may be canceled free of charge. Along with this, users who prefer this service will access a 6% cheaper rate compared to DiDi Express.

In the same vein, the technology company announced that it will not charge a commission to the driving partners that participate in DiDi Hero, a measure that will increase their income using the application by 10%. In addition, and in order to protect health during the trips, DiDi committed a support of 10,000 pesos a week so that the driving partners of DiDi Hero can buy disinfectant items. They will also be able to access one professional sanitation a week.

All the aforementioned measures are framed within the global protocol that the technology company implemented in response to the health emergency.

These initiatives also include the creation of a financial aid fund for driving partners diagnosed with Covid19; an alliance with Prowash and other car wash companies to sanitize vehicles; the formation of a working group dedicated to tracing the trips made through the application; and the recent measure promoted by DiDi to protect older adults who must leave their homes to fulfill their obligatory activities or functions, allowing them to travel at half price.
