Dota 2 received the Overwatch update, thanks to which the patrol will appear there as in CS GO

A system similar to the patrol from CS: GO comes in the next game from Valve.

As with other major online games, Dota 2 has a longstanding problem of abusive behavior and game rules violations. Therefore, Valve offers a community control system similar to CS: GO. In this system, players with a good reputation for a long time will be able to study the reports of other players and evaluate their behavior.

These players will receive match recordings with pre-marked sections where suspicious behavior has been reported. They will have a chance to punish or acquit the player, or dismiss the case for lack of evidence. The community will now be able to control each other, and Valve is giving more power to the players themselves.

In a CS: GO game, the system works very similarly, where it mostly deals with cheaters (people who use external programs to cheat in the game) and rarely focuses on bad behavior. Both games will have essentially the same system, with minor differences.

After complaints from a large number of community members, the player can be blocked for 30 days or more, or indefinitely. Let’s see how often Valve will block players who do not comply with the rules of the game, but this is certainly a deterrent, especially for collectors of various skins for huge sums. After all, usually a blocked player loses access to in-game items.

After the ban, the player will be disabled by default sound and text chat. When trying to use the chat, he will receive a blocking notification. Other players will be able to unlock it if they wish.
