Xiaomi to unveil three smartphones with Android 11, Snapdragon 888, 67W and 80W wireless charging

The Chinese company Xiaomi has not yet announced a single flagship smartphone this year. Moreover, all the models that appeared in January are copies of the devices presented in 2020. But immediately the manufacturer saved a number of announcements for the end of the first quarter.

As it became known, Xiaomi is presenting three models at once under its own brand based on the Snapdragon 888 5-nanometer single-chip system. Two of them are codenamed Mars and Star. Commercial names have not been announced yet. In addition to Qualcomm’s mobile processor, both models will receive support for 67-watt fast wireless charging

The third novelty will be the flagship Xiaomi Mi 11 Pro. It will support 80-watt wireless charging. The announcement is expected immediately in the global market along with the international version of the Xiaomi Mi 11 smartphone, which is still only available in China.

One of the two solutions with support for 67-watt wireless charging should be the Xiaomi Mi 11 Ultra. It will be the successor to the Mi 10 Ultra, which was released last August to mark the birthday of the Chinese company. Also, the upcoming novelty is credited with 120-watt wired charging. All three flagships of the manufacturer based on the Snapdragon 888 mobile processor will go on sale with pre-installed Android 11 operating system and MIUI 12.5 proprietary add-ons.
