PRAGUE, 7 Oct – PRIME. The summit of EU heads of state will not make final decisions on Friday, including on gas price limits, said the head of the European Commission (EC), Ursula von der Leyen, before the start of the meeting in Prague.
OPEC+ cuts production due to West decision on price ceiling, Borrell says
“There will be no decisions today, this is an informal council. But of course, this is preparation for the official summit (which will take place – ed.) at the end of October,” she said. The statement was broadcast on the EC website.
According to her, there will be a discussion about price limits.
“The question is where to put them, how to put them,” the head of the EC explained.
She expressed confidence that the EU countries will come to “good conclusions” on price caps in the discussion on Friday.
