Matvienko got acquainted with the improvement projects of Taganrog

MOSCOW, 27 Sep — PRIME. The results of the Clear Sky program implemented by the Rosseti group in Taganrog were evaluated by the head of the company, Andrei Ryumin, and the chairman of the Federation Council, Valentina Matvienko, during her working trip to the city.

“Clear Sky” is a complex of works related to the transfer of wires of power lines underground. Matvienko gave a start to the project in September 2021.

“The most important thing is that as a result, Taganrog has been reopened for all of us. It is a historical, unique city with its own history, beauty, which has great potential,” she said, having familiarized herself with the projects for the improvement of the city.

During the implementation of the project, power engineers dismantled 85 power transmission towers in the historical center of the city and laid 10 kilometers of a new underground cable. In conditions of dense development, all work was carried out using horizontal directional drilling technology. A total of 1,300 square meters of territory has been landscaped. Almost 1,000 consumers have been transferred to the new power supply scheme.
