EVGA Geforce GTX 560 Ti 2Win is the name of a new special that does not stop at an everyday reference design. Instead, EVGA is investing in two graphics processors on the same circuit board – in short, the Geforce GTX 560 Ti twice as much.
The newcomer is based on Nvidia’s graphics processor GF114 with 384 CUDA cores, a total of 786 computing units – 50 percent more than in the GTX 580. There is 2 GB of GDDR5 memory divided into two 256-bit memory buses and four video outputs: three DVI and a Mini HDMI. The latter provides support for 3D Vision Surround with a single graphics card.
The clock frequencies are also higher than normal. EVGA screws up the graphics processors to 850 MHz GPU and 1,700 MHz shader, a small but noticeable increase from the reference design’s 822 and 1,645 MHz respectively. However, the memory frequency remains at 4,008 MHz (GDDR5).
The circuit board itself measures 29.5 centimeters and is covered by a cooler with four heat conduction pipes and three temperature-controlled fans that take up an extra card space. The power supply requires two 8-pin PCI Express.
The new graphics card is currently only available to order from EVGA’s US online store at a price of USD 520, corresponding to approximately SEK 4,350 including VAT.
