EVGA Geforce GTX 680 “For The Win”

Two more Geforce GTX 680 fall in from EVGA, which this time spices up the reference design with more memory and higher clock frequencies. The new graphics cards are called For The Win (FTW) and are aimed at enthusiasts and overclockers who want that little bit extra.

The basic model is based, as usual, on the GK104 graphics processor with 2 GB of GDDR5 memory on a 256-bit memory bus. There are 1,536 CUDA cores in 1,110 MHz that can step up to 1,176 MHz thanks to the automatic overclocking function GPU Boost. At the same time, the memories are overclocked to 6,208 MHz, up from 6,008 MHz in the standard model.

For those who need more, the Geforce GTX 680 FTW with 4 GB of GDDR5 memory will also be released. Despite the increased memory capacity, EVGA manages to overclock this model to the same levels as the base version. In addition, a metal plate is added which protects the back of the circuit board and helps to dissipate heat.
