EVGA launches Geforce GTX 1070 Ti FTW Ultra Silent

After a long period of rumors, Nvidia launched the Geforce GTX 1070 Ti earlier this year, a new model that ranks between the Geforce GTX 1070 and the Geforce GTX 1080 in terms of performance. Like these, the graphics card is based on Nvidia’s well-proven GP104 circuit own versions of the model.

EVGA is one of those who have previously launched several variants of graphics cards and now they are unveiling another one, with the name Geforce GTX 1070 Ti FTW Ultra Silent. As the name suggests, the focus is on a low noise level, which is achieved through a larger heat sink along with silent fans. The larger heat sink, however, means that it takes up 2.5 expansion slots and the card itself requires three free slots.

As Nvidia does not allow overclocking from the factory, EVGA’s variant also has a base and turbo frequencies of 1,607 and 1,683 MHz respectively. Like several other players, however, EVGA includes overclocking profiles in its Precision X OC software, where the card can be overclocked at the touch of a button.

Otherwise, the graphics card is equipped with 10 + 2 power phases, two 8-pin PCI Express connectors and the ability to switch between two BIOS profiles. In terms of connections, it is equipped with an HDMI, a DVI-D and three Displayports. The EVGA Geforce GTX 1070 Ti FTW Ultra Silent is available now with a recommended price tag of $ 500, equivalent to approximately SEK 5,300 including VAT.
