EVGA launches Geforce GTX 970 Hybrid with closed water cooler

During Computex 2015, the partner manufacturer EVGA presented the Geforce GTX 980 graphics card in a number of new designs, including closed water cooling. With a launch this summer, it’s time for little brother GTX 970 to get the same treatment.

The new model is called EVGA Geforce GTX 970 Hybrid and is built on the same circuit board as the company’s own GTX 970 Gaming. Under the shell, the GM204 graphics circuit with 1,664 CUDA cores at 1,140 and 1,279 MHz at base respective boost. This includes a 256-bit memory bus with 4 GB of GDDR5 memory at 7,010 MHz.

The parade number for the graphics card is the closed water cooling system, where a block is connected to a 120 mm radiator and fan that is regulated automatically according to the card’s heat development. The whole is assisted by a radial fan, which is there to cool other heat-generating components such as voltage parts.
