The CES fairs can be a goldmine in graphics card news or the equivalent for processors. On the other hand, there will be extra radio silence when neither AMD nor Nvidia have anything new to show, and as the exclusive partner of the latter, EVGA is punished extra severely by the lack of new graphics cards.
Therefore, EVGA took matters into their own hands and created a model that they themselves call the Geforce RTX 2060 KO, which has a simple task – to squeeze the price. This should have been made possible by reducing many unnecessarily high costs, without affecting performance in a negative way.
EVGA aims for a price around 300 USD, which compared to the reference model of Geforce RTX 2060 is just over 50 USD lower. Fortunately, the price reduction on the radiator, which is also used in the company’s GTX 16 series, is not noticeable. The graphics card is also equipped with a semi-passive fan curve and thus becomes silent at rest.

EVGA Geforce RTX 2060 KO is planned to be launched as early as next week, but it will probably take a while before the Swedish market gets its hands on the card.
