EVGA shows the Geforce GTX 980 Ti Superclocked, Hybrid and Classified

Nvidia’s launch of the Geforce GTX 980 Ti earlier this week has left a clear mark on partner manufacturers’ booths at Computex, with plenty of custom models to look at. One of these is the American EVGA, which loads a whole family of new graphics cards with the GM200 under the hood.

The most recent is the Geforce GTX 980 Ti Superclocked ACX 2.0+, which is expected to appear as early as mid-June at Swedish dealers. The model comes factory overclocked with 100 MHz over Nvidia’s reference card, which in practice gives a nominal turbo frequency of 1,190 MHz, and is adorned with the company’s ACX 2.0 + cooler with semi-passive operation. The price tag is expected to land just under SEK 8,000.

Next up is the Geforce GTX 980 Ti Hybrid, which is equipped with a closed water cooling solution from Asetek. Like the Superclocked ACX 2.0+, the model is based on Nvidia’s reference circuit board but with slightly higher clock frequencies out of the box, where the nominal turbo clock frequency lands at 1,140 MHz. The card is expected to be available at the end of June with an estimated price of SEK 8,500.

In addition, more porky models with a more lavish power supply in the Classified and Kingpin series are expected to appear later in the summer. The latter card was shown in the company’s suite complete with extra power supply via double 8-pins as well as a single 6-pin PCI Express and a new ACX 2.0 cooler made entirely of copper. The price levels of the models are currently unknown.
