FAS announced plans to create a Russian exchange indicator of oil prices
VLADIVOSTOK, 6 Sep — PRIME. The Federal Antimonopoly Service (FAS) expects that the Russian oil price indicator will be created by the end of 2022, said Vitaly Korolev, deputy head of the department.
The expert estimated how much OPEC + can cut production
“Given that the ratings are leaving Russia, it is obvious that we need our own indicators. Currently, such work is being carried out with the Ministry of Energy. … I believe that by the end of the year there is every chance that Pavel Yuryevich (Sorokin, Deputy Minister of Energy of the Russian Federation) – ed.) this issue was advanced and even resolved,” Korolev said at the WEF session.
In July, the FAS developed a roadmap for the development of exchange trading in natural resources, in which it proposed to create a system of Russian price indicators for commodity products.
The WEF takes place on September 5-8 on the campus of the Far Eastern Federal University on Russky Island in Vladivostok. RIA Novosti acts as the general media partner of the forum.
