Le Pen speaks out against French gas supplies to Germany

It is noted that the prolonged drought and heat in France, as well as the conflict in Ukraine, have affected the availability and prices of many products, especially vegetables, oils, milk and mustard, while the energy crisis has weakened the country’s food production chains.

According to Dominique Chargé, President of the Agricultural Cooperation, which unites 40% of the French agro-industry, the risk of interruption of food production plants in France has never been as high as it is now.

After prices for electricity and natural gas supplying dairies, sugar and canning factories rose by 350% and 380% respectively in a year, the food industry began to experience its first complications.

Dairy producers have already warned of difficulties in supplying the French with dairy products. In addition to energy prices, they reportedly fear premature power outages, which will cause them to throw away their milk.
