MOSCOW, 26 Sep — PRIME. The average price for diesel fuel at Moscow gas stations for the week from September 19 to September 26 increased by 11 kopecks, to 54.53 rubles per liter, AI-100 gasoline rose by an average of 4 kopecks, to 62.52 rubles per liter, follows from the data Moscow Fuel Association (MTA).
Thus, the cost of these fuels is growing for the third week in a row. A week earlier, AI-100 increased in price by 27 kopecks, and diesel fuel – by 8 kopecks.
At the same time, AI-92 and AI-95 gasoline in Moscow still costs an average of 47.87 and 53.10 rubles per liter, respectively. These prices remain unchanged for almost a month.
Diesel fuel rose in price at the gas stations of Teboil, Gazprom Neft, Tatneft, Neftmagistraili, and EKA. At the same time, the price of AI-100 gasoline rose only at Tatneft gas stations.
The cost of fuel in Moscow has stabilized and even began to decline slightly in early March. Prior to that, gasoline prices at Moscow filling stations began to rise noticeably in 2020, while diesel fuel has risen in price since mid-January 2021. This happened after the rapid growth of wholesale prices on the stock exchange. Last summer, the rate of growth in fuel prices accelerated so much that measures to contain them were discussed, up to a ban on exports and an agreement with oil companies, but they were not taken.
