This puts the laptop chip with the stripped-down frequencies of 1567 MHz on a par with the full-fledged desktop RTX 2060 Super.
A scenario in which miners begin to massively buy laptops with these GPUs looks extremely unlikely so far. But the increased interest of miners in the desktop versions of the RTX 3060 can be predicted right now. Hardwaretimes resource authors suggestthat with a frequency of 1.78GHz this card will be able to bypass the pre-top model of the previous generation RTX 2080 Super, making it an incredibly popular tool for mining on the Ethash algorithm.
In such a situation, the prices of these graphics adapters will be very different from those recommended by Nvidia itself, and ordinary gamers will be able to claim them only if the rates of popular cryptocurrencies decrease.
