MOSCOW, 19 Sep — PRIME. Average prices for diesel fuel at Moscow gas stations for the week from September 12 to September 19 increased by 8 kopecks, to 54.42 rubles per liter, while AI-100 gasoline added 27 kopecks in price at once, follows from the data of the Moscow Fuel Association (MTA) .
The price of AI-92 and AI-95 gasoline in Moscow remained the same – 47.87 and 53.1 rubles per liter. At the same time, the AI-100 has risen in price significantly – by 27 kopecks, to 62.48 rubles.
Gasoline and diesel prices increased in the capital at Teboil, Rosneft, Gazprom Neft, Tatneft, ESA, and Petrol Complex filling stations.
Gasoline prices at Moscow gas stations began to rise noticeably in 2020, while diesel fuel prices have risen since mid-January 2021. This happened after the rapid growth of wholesale prices on the stock exchange. Last summer, the rate of growth in fuel prices accelerated so much that measures to contain them were discussed, up to a ban on exports and an agreement with oil companies, but they were not taken. The cost of fuel in Moscow has stabilized and even began to decline slightly in early March.
