Gazprom spoke about the positive impact of sanctions on the company’s work

S. PETERSBURG, 15 Sep — PRIME. Sanctions and the difficult economic situation only stimulate the work of Gazprom, said Oleg Aksyutin, deputy chairman of the board of the gas company.

“Sanctions and the difficult external economic situation not only do not hinder, but rather stimulate the work of Gazprom in fulfilling the tasks and developing the gas industry,” he said during a plenary session at the St. Petersburg International Gas Forum.

According to the top manager, “Gazprom” continues to implement all key investment projects, of particular importance is the stimulation of gas consumption within the country. According to him, this is primarily about the development of gas processing, gasification, as well as the use of gas as a motor fuel in the Russian Federation.

The company’s investment program for the next five years is preserved, but there may be fluctuations in its volume by 10-15%, Aksyutin added.
