Greenpeace announces aeternity blockchain investment platform for alternative energy

The AMPnet project, a graduate of the aeternity acceleration program, has announced a partnership with the independent international organization Greenpeace.

The aeternity-supported project provides energy cooperatives with a platform for managing and investing under the white-label scheme (without brand binding). Greenpeace plans to use AMPnet to finance its renewable energy plants.

AMPnet CEO Mislav Javor presented the Greenpeace Earthboost platform at the ityternity Universe One conference in Prague.

“Working with Greenpeace, a pioneer in renewable energy, is an honor. We are pleased to provide technology that will finance more environmentally friendly power plants around the world, ”he commented.

AMPnet operates in the $ 50 billion alternative energy market. Consumers and producers of such energy are often combined into cooperatives. Energy cooperatives provide themselves with heat and electricity, and also produce them for sale.

Members of small energy cooperatives manage employees and interact with customers manually. AMPnet has developed a universal system for automating these processes.

The AMPnet project received a $ 100,000 investment after graduating from the æternity Starfleet acceleration program.

“We interacted with æternity before working on AMPnet. The choice of the æternity platform to create the project was obvious. A world-class development team, a high-bandwidth blockchain and status channels have only strengthened our solution, ”said Mislav Javor, AMPnet CEO.
