Honor View 20: Specs and Quick Review

In early 2019, Huawei unveiled its new Honor View 20 phone, which within a short span of time became its flagship. The device has the qualities of the most top-end phones, but at the same time, its purchase will not be very expensive. The standard version of the phone costs 38,000 rubles, the version released jointly with the Mouschino brand costs 45,000 rubles. This device has a number of innovations and fully pays for its cost.

Honor – View 20, has incorporated most of the advanced mobile technologies available to the manufacturer at the moment. Among them: a camera with a resolution of 48 megapixels, a front camera with a resolution of 25 megapixels built into the screen, a 7-nanometer “smart” processor Kirin 980, as well as a triple “smart” Wi-Fi antenna and a “nano-textured” coating of the body with a “shine” effect “.

Main features of Honor View 20

  • The body is made of metal and glass
  • Supports two Nano SIM cards
  • Processor: Huawei, type – Kirin 980
  • Number of cores – 8 (2×2.6 GHz, 2×1.92 GHz, 4×1.8 GHz)
  • Memory: operational – 6 GB, built-in – 128 GB
  • Display: type – LTPF touchscreen, frameless
  • Diagonal – 6.4 ”, resolution – 2310×1080 Pix
  • 4000 mAh battery
  • Height – 156.9 mm
  • Width – 75.4mm
  • Thickness – 8.1 mm
  • Thickness – 8.1 mm

The phone’s appearance has several unique changes. On the back of the phone, the letter V (view) is clearly visible, which shimmers in the light. The front panel has absolutely no bezels. Even the top edge is missing, only a peephole is cut out for the camera. In spite of its size, the phone fits comfortably in the hand, although it is rather heavy.

The body material is quite solid – the frame is made of metal, the panels are made of glass. The panels themselves are very smooth and behind this lies their main disadvantage – they get dirty easily and fingerprints remain, so when using a smartphone without a case, it will look dirty. The processor is made at the highest level. Even under the highest load, the phone does not overheat, freezes or slows down. This is ideal for gamers, as even the most demanding games will run on the phone at maximum settings. The main disadvantage is the lack of support for an additional memory card. Even 128 GB may not be enough over time.

The screen is protected by glass and has good scratch resistance. The anti-glare properties of the phone allow you to use it even in very sunny weather. The viewing angles of the screen do not cause any questions – the visibility is clear from any side.

The camera of the smartphone is made flawlessly. Even when shooting indoors or in low light conditions, the device produces a high quality picture. One of the novelties of the phone is the presence of a camera that allows you to take 3D pictures. Video shooting is also at the level, there is electronic stabilization. You can find more details in the article Huawei Honor V20. The capacity of the battery allows you to charge your phone once every few days, even with intensive use. There is a fast charging function. Honor V20 in some positions looks like an experimental model with an eye to the future. But, despite this, the phone still has high characteristics and is able to interest Russian buyers.
