How to add / remove / change keyboard layout in Windows 11
The Windows 11 operating system provides a feature that allows users to add their regional language on their system. They can add not only the language but also the keyboard layout which can be very convenient for users to type anything effortlessly. Windows 11 comes with English (United States) by default, but you can add or remove any other language and its keyboard layout at any time. In this article, we will show you how you can change, add or remove keyboard layout in Windows 11.
Paso 1: Press To win key on your keyboard and type settings.
Paso 2: Click on Settings application of search results as shown below.
Paso 3: First, go to Time and language on the left side of the window.
Paso 4: After clicking Time and language, Click on Language and region on the right side as shown below.
Paso 5: Click on Add a language in the Preferred languages option.
Paso 6: Click on the search bar and type the name of the language (for example: hindi) of your choice to choose a language to install.
Then select the language that appears in the search results below it, as shown in the image below.
To continue, click next.
Paso 7: Then click Install on pc to start installing the new language as shown below.
Then you will see that the new language is installed on your system and it is listed below the existing languages on the system.
Paso 8: Click the Show more button ( . . . ) as shown in the given screenshot.
Paso 9: Click on Language options from the list as shown below.
Paso 10: Click on Add a keyboard button as shown.
Paso 11: Select any of the layout options as shown below.
NOTE: – One design among them will be selected by default and you can change it by selecting some other option from the list.
In this way, you can add a new language and also select the keyboard layout pattern for that language of your choice on your system.
Paso 1: Press Win + me keys together on your keyboard.
Paso 2: Click on Time and language on the left side of the window.
Paso 3: Then click Language and region on the right side as shown below.
Paso 4: Click show more options ( . . . ) in the language whose keyboard layout you want to remove.
Paso 5: Then click Language options on the list.
Paso 6: Click show more options (. . .), and then click Remove from the drop-down menu.
You can now see that the selected keyboard layout has been removed from your system and will no longer be displayed on the Language & Region page.

Paso 1: Click on language icon which is displayed on the taskbar as shown below.
Paso 2: Click on any other in the list of languages installed on your system from the list that appears.
In this way, you can choose any other language that is installed on your system.
NOTE: – Can you hold Windows key and press Space bar on your keyboard until you select the language from the list.
