If that doesn’t work, it probably won’t, you’ll have to use a third-party app. Fortunately, the Play Store has a really good app for this called AccuBattery.

Unfortunately, you will not get answers right away. AccuBattery cannot access historical information about your battery. It will start logging data after you install it. After a few charge / discharge cycles, you will be able to see a reading of the battery status.
