How to fix Conexant SmartAudio HD no sound issue in Windows 11/10
Many users are facing sound issues with Conexant SmartAudio HD on their Windows PC. Generally, this no sound issue has been reported after a Windows update or Windows PC upgrade.

It is known that a Windows upgrade or update may uninstall the driver or make it incompatible. So the best solution is to try and update the Conexant SmartAudio HD driver. First, download the latest driver from your PC manufacturer’s website.
1. Press Windows + R to open the To run dialogue.
2. Type devmgmt.msc to open the Device administrator.
3. Find Sound, audio and game controller and click on it to expand.
4. You will see your driver listed. The right button of the mouse in controller and choose Update driver.
5. Here select the option browse my computer for drivers.
6. Now click on Let me choose from a list of available drivers on my computer.
7. It will list the compatible drivers available on your system. Select the high definition audio device and click next continue.
8. Restart your PC after updating the driver. Check if the sound problem is fixed with Conexant SamrtAudio HD.
1. Perform Steps 1 – 3 like in Solution 1 about.
2. The right button of the mouse in your controller and choose Uninstall device.
3. When a warning is displayed that you are about to uninstall a device, cheque the box next to Try removing the driver for this device.
4. Then click Uninstall. Wait for the uninstall to complete.
5. Restart your PC after uninstall. Windows will automatically search for missing drivers and reinstall them.
6. Check if the issue is resolved.

3. Scroll down and locate More sound settings at Advanced Section.
4. Go to Reproduction tab.
5. The right button of the mouse about Speakers that shows Conexant SmartAudio HD and choose Properties.
6. Go to improvements tab on the Speaker Properties window.
7. Cheque the box next to Disable all sound effects. Some versions of Windows show Disable all enhancements.
8. Click Request and then in OK to confirm the changes.
9. Check if this resolved the sound problem.
1. Open To run using Windows Y R keys.
2. Type ms-settings: troubleshooting to open the Solve problems page.
3. Click Other problem solvers.
4. Click on the To run button next to audio playback fireman.
5. Wait for it to run and check for any problems. If there is any, it will show some solution that can be applied.
