Huobi Exchange will block US user accounts in mid-November

Huobi Cryptocurrency Exchange intends to block the accounts of US residents in order to prevent violations of the User Agreement.

The Exchange Terms of Service contain a rule prohibiting US customers from using the services of the site. However, some Americans did create accounts and complete transactions on the platform.

The exchange said that a complete freeze of all accounts of US residents will occur on November 13. By this time, customers will be able to return Huobi Point Cards and withdraw all remaining crypto assets from their accounts.

Recall that the other day, the Huobi Group cryptocurrency company announced the launch of the Huobi Cloud platform in the Middle East, designed to create safe and stable digital asset exchanges.

In June, the Binance exchange also revised the company’s internal policy and decided to limit access to the global platform for users from the United States. At the same time, in September Binance launched a separate cryptocurrency exchange in the United States.
