IAEA experts continue to work at Zaporozhye NPP on Friday

MOSCOW, Sep 2 — PRIME. Eight IAEA experts continue to work at the Zaporozhye nuclear power plant on Friday, Energodar administration head Alexander Volga said on Rossiya 24.

Grossi said that the IAEA will keep a permanent mission at ZNPP
“At the moment, there are eight people left at the nuclear power plant (members of the IAEA mission – ed.), plus four more people – the maintenance personnel who accompany them,” he said.
Volga added that the city authorities are counting on “an adequate and objective investigation of all events.”
The IAEA mission headed by the head of the agency, Rafael Grossi, arrived at the Zaporozhye NPP on Thursday. The head of the delegation of “Rosatom” and employees of the Zaporizhzhya NPP led the delegation of the IAEA through its territory and showed the sections of the station that were damaged during the shelling of Ukrainian troops.
