Intel Arc: Are these the first desktop video cards to come? Performance and prices (assumed)

Intel has not yet unbuttoned about entering the world of schede video desktopif not confirming the arrival of the GPUs during the second quarter and showing, with a captivating teaser, an unspecified one Limited Edition expected in early summer.

The rumors about the plans of the company have been going on for weeks, but in the past few hours the site Wccftech seems to have learned – directly from the Taiwanese supply chain – interesting details on timing and prices of upcoming models. They would be two video cards initially planned, with a third model planned for the following weeks.

The solutions Arc A750 e A380 should usher in Intel’s return to the dedicated desktop GPU scene, while the A580 model will follow in the following weeks. There is talk of debut between late May and early June, with the A580 likely to arrive in July.

Arc A750 should offer comparable performance to the GeForce RTX 3060 and have a list price of 350 dollars. For comparison, the RTX 3060 has an MSRP of $ 329, but as much as the prices of the cards have improved in recent weeks, in stores it can be found at higher prices (as well as most other GPUs on the market).

A380instead, it should have a list price of 150 dollars and offer similar performance to the GeForce GTX 1650 (also with a similar list price). In the end, A580 it should be positioned at the level of the GeForce RTX 3050 (MSRP of $ 249) with a list price of 280 dollars. It therefore appears that during the first batch there will be no high-end model.

Intel would not have communicated for the moment of the precise launch dates for the models, but would have simply fixed a window between May 15th and June 30th. “The exact sales dates for each model will be disclosed separately after launch,” writes Wccftech.

Although the site demonstrates a good dose of confidence in reporting what is blurt out from its sources, it is always good to take the rumors with the right caution. Maybe we’ll know more soon: the Intel Vision event will be held on May 10-11.
