Intel confirms there will be an Arc Alchemist GPU with 448 Execution Units

Little by little we are learning more about Intel’s Arc Alchemist GPUs, and in this case the company itself confirmed the existence of a model with 448 Execution Units, internally called DG2-448, which is added to the existing models with 512, 384 and 128 UEs.

This variant was revealed in a driver update for Linux, where the pixel pipeline was optimized to such an extent that performance improvements of up to 40% are obtained in certain tests, and of up to 30% in Dota 2 or 22% in CS: GO.

Unfortunately no other information is known than its execution units, although if we consider that the variant of 512 UEs will have a similar performance to that of the RTX 3070, this variant of 448 UEs would be located between the RTX 3060 and the RTX 3060 Ti, offering a very good performance to play at 1440p. It is not clear if it will have 16GB of GDDR6 memory and 256-bit bus as the higher version, or if there will be cuts in this regard.
