Intel Iris Plus Graphics G7 and Intel Iris Xe Graphics G7 : Test | Hashrate | Specs | CPU | Config

Comparison of two integrated graphics cards for laptops Intel Iris Plus Graphics G7 and Intel Iris Xe Graphics G7: Test | Hashrate | Specs | CPU | Config

In this article, we will compare the performance of two Intel Iris Plus Graphics G7 and Intel Iris Xe Graphics G7 graphics cards built into laptop processors. The first is part of the top-end notebook processors based on Intel Ice Lake architecture, the second is part of the processors on the Tiger Lake Xe architecture. Both integrated GPUs can compete on equal terms with Nvidia’s entry-level discrete GPUs, so both integrated GPUs should be able to handle Fortnite-level games quite well.

Intel Iris Plus Graphics G7

Intel Iris Plus Graphics G7 is a video processor embedded in Intel’s 10th generation Ice Lake mobile processors. This integrated graphics processor contains 64 execution units operating at frequencies up to 1.1 GHz. As a result, it provides a peak computing performance of 1.12 teraflops for FP32 operations and twice as much (2.24 teraflops) with reduced accuracy – FP16. The frequency of the G7 depends on the CPU model, and the graphics performance is greatly affected by the manufacturer’s TDP settings, as well as the quality of the laptop’s power and cooling.

Intel Iris Xe Graphics G7

The Intel Iris Xe Graphics G7 is a video processor built into select Intel Tiger Lake processors. This GPU has 96 or 80 Unified Shader Clusters and uses Intel’s 12th Generation Graphics Architecture. The operating frequency of the integrated graphics card ranges from Intel Xe Graphics G7 from 400 MHz to 1350 MHz. The slowest graphics option is installed in the Intel Core i5-1130G7 processor, which has a maximum frequency of 1100 MHz.

Witcher 3: Wild Hunt offers a non-linear, mature, action-packed story and unparalleled QTE-free combat system that combines a wide variety of RPG tactics with dynamic and spectacular combat worthy of the best action games. The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt was developed with the REDengine 3 game engine, which was aimed at current generation consoles and PCs. The first part of The Witcher was based on the Aurora Engine technology, a game engine developed by the Canadian company BioWare and first used in the computer role-playing game Neverwinter Nights, which was released on June 18, 2002. The technology uses HDR rendering with 64-bit depth, which produces the highest image quality with more realistic and faithful lighting without losing detail. Flexible rendering ready for deferred or advanced rendering with a wide range of cinematic post effects, including depth-of-field bokeh, color gradation, and light flares. High quality terrain allows for multiple layers of material to blend seamlessly and uses tasselation to maximize detail. The technology also includes seamless linking of animation and physics and a number of other features. The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt is by far the most technologically advanced and advanced open world RPG. The game pleases the eye with its wonderful world and atmosphere, forcing you to completely immerse yourself in the gameplay, forgetting about all the other problems happening around.
