Intel NUC Panther Canyon: avr Tiger Lake CPU at 10nm and Intel Xe graphics

Intel Panther Canyon identifies the new generation of Intel NUC mini-PC and will arrive on the market together with its extreme variant Phantom Canyon, heir to the current top of the range Hades Canyon (Review). The new NUCs will use Intel Tiger Lake processors at 10nm and will debut in the second half of the year, this is what the portal publishes exclusively fanlesstech, confirming, among other things, the technical specifications circulated this summer on the web.

Intel Panther Canyon and Phantom Canyon will be based on Tiger Lake U line processors with 28W TDP, it starts from the Core i3 models arriving at the more powerful Core i5 and i7. We confirm that on the Phantom Canyon model there is no provision, at least for the moment, for the use of Core H series processors with 45W TDP (we had already talked about it HERE).

The 11th generation NUCs then support Intel Xe integrated graphics, SODIMM DDR4 3200 memories, PCI-E 4.0 SSD, Thunderbolt 3 and latest generation Intel connectivity. The Phantom Canyon variant will be the one characterized by the most optimized design and the only one to support a dedicated graphics card, 8K display and 4 monitor configurations. No details emerged regarding the prices of the new models.
