Intel plans to compete against NVIDIA's RTX 3060 Ti with its Arc A770 GPU, by the end of the year the RTX 4060 will probably destroy it

Intel released its first generation Arc Alchemist GPUs for laptops, a bit of an odd release because there is no stock of these products. The lineup of graphics cards for desktop PCs is now expected to arrive sometime between June and August. And according to the latest rumours, IIntel will have a total of seven models, from the top of the range with the Arc A770 to the entry-level A310.

The Arc A770 will be based on the full ACM-G10 chip with 32 Xe Cores (4096 shaders) and a 16 GB GDDR6 memory buffer connected via a 256-bit bus. There will also be an 8 GB variant. Below the A770, we have the A750 and the A580. The former will pack 24 Xe-cores or 3072 shaders with 12GB of GDDR6 memory on a 192-bit bus, while the latter will be down to 16 Xe-cores (2048 FP32 ALUs) and an 8GB VRAM buffer.

Finally, at the bottom, we have the A350 and the A380. The A310 is still a mystery at the moment, so we’ll ignore it.

The A300s are going to fight against NVIDIA’s RTX 3050 and 2060. They will arrive with 4-8 GB of GDDR6 memory along with a 64-96 bit bus along with 4-8 Xe cores (512-1,024 FP32 cores).

Here is a rough comparison of future GPUs:

  • Arc A770 vs RTX 3060 Ti/3070 – The RTX 4060 should destroy both models with a late 2022 release.
  • Arc A750 vs RTX 3060, both models should remain strong in the market until the RTX 4050 is released in 2023.
  • Arc A580 frente a la RTX 3060.
  • Arc A380 vs. RTX 2060.
  • Arc A350 frente a la RTX 3050.
