Intel will offer Arc GPUs between the GTX 1650 and the RTX 3070, priced between $ 100 and $ 500

A few days ago the famous leaker Greymon55 claimed to have seen a slide from Intel where the company confirmed that it would target the RTX 3070 and RX 6700 XT with the top model of its line of dedicated Arc GPUs, and today said slide came to light, where we can see the positioning in both price and performance of Intel’s new line of GPUs.

From what is seen in said slide, Intel will not have three different chips as initially speculated, but will only have two: A “SOC1” chip that will be used for the models that will compete against the RTX 3060, RTX 3060 and RTX 3070, and another “SOC2” chip that will be used in the low-end models.

GPUs based on the high-performance chip will have TDPs between 175W and 225W depending on the model, and prices between US $ 300 and US $ 500, being quite competitive against current alternatives from AMD and Nvidia, while GPUs Based on the smallest chip, they will all have 75W TDPs and prices between $ 100 and $ 220, offering inexpensive alternatives for those who need a new dedicated GPU and do not have a lot of budget.

It will be interesting to see if later Intel adds a third line that covers the large performance space between the two lines, since apparently the large space between the GTX 1650 Super and the RTX 3060 will not be covered, where several could be located. Models.

The first Intel Arc GPUs will arrive in early 2022, so there is still a long way to go. Still, Intel is likely to give us some teasers sooner, so stay tuned to HD Tech if you’re interested in learning more about these new GPUs.
