Users of various Zune products who have already upgraded to Windows 7 Beta Build 7000 or later have stated that there is a problem due to which they cannot sync their digital players with the new operating system. This unpleasant news was confirmed by a large number of people around the world. David Szabo, a Microsoft consultant, denied this information, but noted that there were indeed problems. The OS simply does not see the connected device (the Zune icon does not appear on the screen and their software does not work.) But this happened for the first and last time and this problem will be solved in a future version of Windows. Now, in this version, it is also possible to synchronize your favorite player with the new operating system, and this can be done very easily!
“Most importantly, after installing Windows 7 Beta, your player will not be detected by the operating system. If so, just load windows from the administrator user, then connect the device and windows will detect it! ” says Matt Akers of the Zune Product Team. “To boot as administrator, right-click on the Zune software shortcut and select boot from administrator. After that, plug in the device and you will be able to access your player. You don’t need to do this every time. After the first time, the Zune software will remember the settings and will log in automatically as well! ”. However, there is another small problem that concerns Windows 7 Beta specifically. To resolve this issue, Microsoft recommends downloading the newer version of the Zune software, more specifically version 3.1. This is due to the fact that there may be problems when loading software from the administrator, both at the first start and at subsequent ones. But by downloading new software this problem will disappear!
If suddenly your problem has not been resolved, try uninstalling the program and reinstalling the new version. There should be absolutely no problems after that! Akers added.
