Japanese cryptocurrency Bitbox delists XRP

BitBox, the Japanese giant’s trading platform LINE, announced to withdraw the XRP cryptocurrency of his service.

In an article published on his website, BitBox warned its users that the digital part XRP would soon be dereferenced from its platform.

“We are constantly monitoring all of the tokens and currencies that are traded on BitBox. If one of them does not meet our performance, reliability or liquidity requirements, we will dereference it from our platform. In order to protect your rights and your assets, the dereference procedure aims to guarantee the transparency of operations, ”explains Bitbox, without giving more details.

Open in summer 2018, the crypto-exchange is accessible from most countries of the world, except from Japan, where LINE launched a specific platform called bitmax.

Following the withdrawal of XRP, Bitbox now offers the possibility to trade Bitcoin (BTC), Ethereum (ETH), Bitcoin Cash (BCH), Tron (TRX), Standard Paxos (PAX) as well as the company's native token Link (LN).
