Kraken and Coinbase exchanges provide the most honest trading volume data

According to a new report by the Blockchain Transparency Institute (BTI) research group, the Kraken and Coinbase cryptocurrency exchanges provide the most honest trading volume data.

BTI has already carried out the fifth cryptocurrency market research since August 2018 – thanks to their own algorithm, analysts estimate the real trading volume at various platforms.

According to the report, the most honest data is provided by the cryptocurrency exchanges Kraken and Coinbase. Researchers also noted Binance, Poloniex, Bittrex, Gemini and several other sites.

“Since the beginning of 2019, exchanges have reduced overestimated trading volumes by 35.7%. Cryptocurrency platforms have become better at tracking fake transactions and preventing them, ”analysts said.

Moreover, the most honest sites are located in the USA and Japan. But on the exchanges OEX, LBank, BW and Bit-Z, according to researchers, more than 99% of transactions were falsified.

“Most likely, there are several factors at once, the main of which are the regulatory standards in these countries. Although tighter regulation does not always lead to the appearance of the most honest platforms, ”the report says.

Note that according to FTX Global, 68.6% of the trading volumes of cryptocurrency exchanges are falsified, and according to an anonymous group of CryptoIntegrity researchers, this figure reaches 88%.
