MOSCOW, 20 Sep — PRIME. The M.Video-Eldorado group has received permits and will launch sales of the original iPhone 14 by the end of this week, the retailer’s press service told RIA Novosti.

Earlier on Monday, the Association of Trade Companies and Producers of Electrical Household and Computer Equipment (RATEK) recalled the mandatory conditions for the legal sale of the iPhone 14 in Russia. At the same time, the receipt of the necessary documents by Russian companies was not specified.
“The M.Video-Eldorado Group is the first among the largest Russian retailers that are members of the RATEK association to receive the permissions of the authorized bodies necessary for the legal sale of smartphones of the new iPhone 14 line,” the statement said.
The press service stressed that the sale of original devices will begin before the end of this week. Before all smartphones will be received by customers who have pre-ordered.
“Smartphones from the iPhone 14 series, which will be available in M.Video-Eldorado, are officially produced, that is, they are original, have supporting documents and certificates, the conclusion of the Federal Security Service of Russia (permission document). All equipment from the retailer’s assortment undergoes the necessary customs procedures , duties and taxes are paid for it,” the company said.
