IAEA Director General Rafael Grossi
MOSCOW, 29 Aug – PRIME. The IAEA inspection at the Zaporozhye nuclear power plant will last from August 31 to September 3, the Wall Street Journal reports, citing the document.

Peskov said that Russia is interested in the visit of the IAEA to ZNPP
“The inspection will begin on Wednesday and will last until Saturday,” the publication said, citing an internal document of the Ukrainian government.
Earlier, IAEA Director General Rafael Grossi announced that the mission would arrive at the station this week. Later, Russia’s permanent representative to international organizations in Vienna, Mikhail Ulyanov, said that the IAEA mission, headed by the head of the agency, was on its way to the Zaporozhye nuclear power plant.
ZNPP is located on the left bank of the Dnieper near Energodar. This is the largest nuclear power plant in Europe in terms of the number of units and installed capacity. Since March, it has been guarded by the Russian military to prevent leaks of nuclear and radioactive materials. The Ukrainian military continues to regularly shell Energodar, the surrounding villages and the territory of the Zaporozhye nuclear power plant adjacent to the city.
