Media: Turkey will fill gas storage facilities by 100% in September

“According to my calculations, at the beginning of September, the Silivri underground natural gas storage facility approached 100 percent occupancy. Compared to last year, this facility is much better prepared for winter,” Gyohan Yardim, director of the oil and gas company ADG Anadolu Doğalgaz Danışmanlık, quoted the agency as saying.

According to him, the amount of gas in the Tuz Golu storage facility is close to last year’s figures.

Thus, a total of 5.6 billion cubic meters of “blue fuel” will be stored in two underground gas storage facilities in Turkey.
