Microsoft Surface Go 2 ready for launch: FCC certification

Microsoft Surface Go 2most likely has just been certified by FCC, in the United States. As usual, the full device name is not revealed in the documentation, but the code name, EV2, is a rather overwhelming test, given that the previous model was EV1. As usual, this type of certification does not provide significant information on the technical data sheet and appearance of the 2-in-1.

We already know something, however, thanks to the benchmarks that emerged in recent days on 3D Mark and published online. The main novelties should be the processors, with the possibility to choose between Intel Core m3-8100Y and Pentium Gold 4425Y, and the LTE modem at least on the model with the most powerful processor. No major changes are expected on the design side and for the rest of the data sheet.

The presentation should take place relatively quickly – spring was generally rumored. Given the global health emergency it would be reasonable to assume delays, but usually from the FCC certification to the official presentation the step is short. Certainly if there will be an event it will be held online.
