He noted that an agreement was signed with Moldavskaya GRES for 67% of the purchase at a price of $59.9 per MWh, Energoatom will supply 30% at a price of $77 per MWh, and an agreement was signed with Ukrhydroenergo for 3% of the purchase (balancing peak consumption). , at a price of $100 per MWh.

“The average price is $66.23 per MWh. The electricity tariff for end consumers will not change,” Spinu said.

So far, Moldova has purchased 70% of electricity from the Moldavskaya GRES (located in Transnistria, owned by the Russian Inter RAO) at a price of $60 per 1 MW / h, and 30% from the Ukrainian Energoatom at a price of $ 78 per 1 MW /h Moldova’s annual electricity needs are estimated at 800 MW.
