MSI Geforce GTX 660 Ti Hawk gets stuck in the picture

It is in a series of blurred mobile images that MSI’s upcoming graphics card Geforce GTX 660 Ti Hawk leaks out along with preliminary performance figures. The pictures reveal that the model will be equipped with the company’s popular cooling solution TwinFrozr IV and a much more expensive circuit board in comparison with the reference model.

Under the hood we find Nvidia’s graphics processor GK104 with 1,344 pcs. CUDA cores that on delivery come overclocked to 1,020 MHz (1,098 MHz turbo), which can be compared with previously leaked specifications from reference copies of 915 MHz (980 MHz turbo). The speed of the card’s GDDR5 memory has been left untouched at 6,008 MHz, but MSI is taking the opportunity to expand the amount of memory to a full 3 GB.

Along with the pictures on the card, there were also a handful of preliminary performance figures where, among other things, the popular test suite 3DMark 11 was used.
In the program’s Extreme mode, MSI’s factory overclocked model managed to pick out just under 2,900 points, which can be compared with an unclocked Geforce GTX 670.
