MSI launches Geforce GTX 770 Gaming and Lightning

Less than a week ago, Nvidia launched a new graphics card in the 700 series. The new Geforce GTX 770 is based on the well-known graphics processor GK104, which this time is screwed up at higher clock frequencies than before. MSI hooks on and presents two new self-designed models at Computex 2013.

First out is the MSI Geforce GTX 770 Gaming, which normally contains 1,536 CUDA cores and 2 GB of memory on a 256-bit memory bus. The manufacturer raises the clock frequencies a bit to 1,098 MHz GPU and 1,150 MHz Boost, but the memory frequency remains at 7,010 MHz GDDR5.

The main number is a new version of the radiator Twinfrozr, which this time is black and red with two fans in the size 100 mm. In addition, extra lavish components according to the Military Class concept are included and a control program that can, among other things, regulate performance and fan curves.

MSI Geforce GTX 770 Lightning

For enthusiasts and overclockers, MSI introduces new Geforce GTX 770 Lightning. The specifications are recognizable from other models in the 770 series, but here slightly higher clock frequencies apply. MSI chooses to tune the graphics processor to 1,150 MHz GPU and 1,202 MHz Boost, which can be compared to the reference model’s 1,046 and 1,085 MHz respectively. However, the manufacturer leaves the memory frequency untouched.
